97X is seeking a highly motivated individual for a part-time Promotions Assistant position.
Responsibilities:
Responsibilities include, but are not limited to: - Execute remotes, live broadcasts & other station events which will include setup of sound system and broadcast equipment.
- Driving station vehicles.
- Represent the station in a positive manner to both listeners and clients.
Qualifications: - Must be 18 or older.
- Availability on nights and/or weekends.
- Outgoing personality and good communication skills.
- The ability to work independently and to troubleshoot at events.
- Must be able to lift 30lb equipment.

97X is seeking a highly motivated individual interested in gaining experience in the promotional aspect of radio.
Responsibilities include but are not limited to: - Assisting with remote broadcasts and promotional appearances
- Brainstorming with promotion team on future promotions
- Assisting with all aspects of promotions
- Must be able to lift 30lb. Equipment
Requirements: - Must be 18 or older
- Ideal candidate will be able to commit to a maximum of 20 hours per week
- Must be enrolled in a college or university program for the specific purpose of gaining a degree, and receiving college credit for the internship
- Must provide an authorization letter from school on school letterhead
- Outline of department objectives for internship from school
- Narrative by intern of personal objectives

Responsibilities include, but are not limited to:
Provide all levels of service to key, target and secondary accounts assigned, and assisting in generating revenue for the Company; servicing and securing mutually beneficial relationships with various local businesses, agencies or individuals that have a desire to reach our audience through the media opportunity offered by the Company. Position is accountable for all aspects of account list including sales, service, internal and external communications as well as collections owed to the Company.
Qualifications:
Candidates must be highly motivated with a winning attitude and strong verbal and written communication skills. College degree and outside sales experience a plus, but not mandatory.
