After this I get to scrub the latrines! One of the many questions we get here at 97X is, "Why does it burn when I pee?" We're going to ignore that one and instead answer, "How do I get my band played on Local Motion?"

Easy - mail your music to:

97X Local Motion
11300 4th Street North
Suite 300
St. Petersburg, FL 33716

Be sure to rattle these guidelines about your brain pan:

Music must be in CD format. MP3's are nifty but clog our email. Tapes mean you should really join the 21st century.
The 97X mailroom. Kinda smells like Grandpa's chair.
If you have a song you really want us to play, let us know. However, we will listen to the whole CD and if a different song strikes our fancy, we'll play that instead. This means be sure to supply a track-listing. No idea what song is called = no way going on air. Okay? Okay.
By local we mean Tampa Bay area and/or in range of our signal. We're sure your band in Key West kicks much ass, but you don't really do much around here, eh?
Sound Quality Counts! It may very well be the greatest song on the planet, but if it sounds like it was recorded through two tin cans and frayed twine it probably won't get on the air.

That's it; any other questions can be directed to the Local Motion mailbox. And don't forget to let us know when and where you're playing - we'll pimp that as well.
