Tool announces '10,000 Days'-inspired collectible statue

Over the past few weeks, Tool has been teasing something related to the band's 2006 album 10,000 Days with mysterious videos hinting at something "very limited" that's "coming soon." Now, it appears that mystery has been solved.

Maynard James Keenan and company have announced what they're calling their "debut collectible statue." The piece, which was inspired by the 10,000 Days album artwork, appears to be a transparent skull featuring a fetus inside.

The statue will be released this Friday, December 16, at noon ET. For more info, visit Tool's Instagram page.

10,000 Days is Tool's fourth album and, for a while, seemed like it might be the band's last as continued efforts to deliver a follow-up never materialized for over a decade. Tool finally released another album, Fear Inoculum, in 2019.
