In a news release, Lion Country Safari announced the birth of a male giraffe calf.

The yet unnamed calf was born to Ayanna, an 18-year-old giraffe, WPEC-TV reported. The new addition to the 600-acre park weighs 150 pounds and stands 5 feet, 11 inches tall, the park’s news release stated.

Mother and calf are spending “much-needed quality time together” in a maternity area of the park. The pair is visible to patrons who drive through the park, which is located between West Palm Beach and Lake Okeechobee in the city of Loxahatchee.

The park now has 17 giraffes, WPEC reported.

Park officials asked people to name the calf in a Facebook post and will announce the winner soon.

The choices are Kandoro, which means sweet potato; Mahaba, which means love; and Kianga, which means sunshine.
